Roots & Foundations

Early Life in Egypt

David Soliman was born and raised in Egypt in a Christian family whose faith shaped his understanding of God, perseverance, and purpose from an early age. Growing up as a Christian in a region where believers often faced discrimination and social challenges, David witnessed firsthand the cost of faith and the importance of remaining steadfast in difficult circumstances.

The prayers, sacrifices, and spiritual influence of his family, especially his mother, left a lasting impact on his life. Through seasons of uncertainty, opposition, and unanswered questions, David began to discover that God often uses life's most difficult moments to prepare people for a greater calling.

These early experiences formed the foundation of a lifelong passion to help others find hope, purpose, and healing through a relationship with Christ.

Coming to America

Driven by a desire for opportunity and a deep conviction that God was leading him into a new season, David embarked on a journey to the United States. The path was far from easy. It was marked by immigration challenges, financial obstacles, cultural adjustments, and moments when the future seemed uncertain.

Yet throughout the journey, David experienced what he describes as God's faithful guidance through closed doors, unexpected opportunities, and divine appointments. What appeared at times to be setbacks became stepping stones toward a greater purpose.

These experiences reinforced a truth that would later become a central theme in his life and writing: God does not waste pain, and He often uses unexpected detours to lead people exactly where they need to be.

Turning Pain Into Purpose

Building Bridges

As David settled into life in America, he became increasingly aware of the growing disconnect between people in need and the resources available to help them. He saw communities struggling with practical challenges while churches sought meaningful ways to engage and serve their neighborhoods.

This burden led to the creation of Bridging The Gap, a ministry dedicated to connecting people to hope, churches to communities, and faith to action. The organization was founded on a simple but powerful belief: when practical care is combined with genuine discipleship, lives can be transformed.

Through leadership development, outreach initiatives, discipleship programs, and strategic partnerships, Bridging The Gap has become a platform for mobilizing churches and leaders to make a lasting impact in their communities and around the world.

Serving Communities

One of the most significant expressions of this vision became C.A.R.S. Network (Christ Is Able to Restore Souls).

After witnessing how transportation challenges often trap families in cycles of hardship, David recognized that something as simple as a vehicle repair could determine whether a parent kept a job, attended church, cared for their family, or moved toward stability.

What began as a practical solution grew into a community-driven network that partners with churches, nonprofits, volunteers, donors, and automotive professionals to restore reliable transportation and restore hope.

Since 2012, the broader ministry efforts connected to this vision have helped thousands of individuals and families, demonstrating that meeting practical needs can open doors for deeper relationships, discipleship, and life transformation.

The Message

David is the author of The Bridge Leads Back Home, a book that invites readers to discover how God uses every chapter of life, including pain, setbacks, disappointments, and unexpected detours, to reveal purpose and draw people closer to Him.

Through personal stories, biblical principles, and lessons learned from his own journey, David encourages readers to move beyond inspiration and into transformation. His message centers on discipleship, faith in action, personal growth, and the belief that every person has a story that God can redeem.

As a speaker, David shares with churches, conferences, leadership gatherings, businesses, and community organizations on topics including faith, perseverance, leadership, discipleship, entrepreneurship, community transformation, and living a life of purpose.
