The movement

The Movement

From one story to a global mission.

The story became a movement

God used what happened in David's life to build two tools that local churches use across Africa, the Middle East, and the USA to reach unreachable people and make disciples — fulfilling the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20.

GLOBAL — AFRICA AND MIDDLE EAST

Bridging the Gap Foundation

Partners with local churches, hospitals, and clinics across Africa and the Middle East to reach medically underserved communities. Every program runs through the local church — so practical medical help becomes a bridge to discipleship and lasting transformation. The 12-week BTG discipleship course is offered freely to any partnering church.

USA — HOUSTON AND GROWING NATIONALLY

C.A.R.S. Network

Christ Is Able to Restore Souls. Partners with local churches to provide auto repair assistance to single mothers, widows, veterans' wives, and refugees. The car gets fixed. A relationship forms. The person is connected to the local church for discipleship. Over 5,000 families served across 14 years of ministry.

The thread that connects all of it — Matthew 28:19-20

  • A practical need — medical care in Africa or the Middle East, a broken car in Houston, a question about purpose in a church small group.
  • The local church shows up — Through BHG's medical partnerships, C.A.R.S. auto repairs, or the book's discipleship tools.
  • A relationship forms — Not a program, not a transaction. A real human bridge between a person and the body of Christ.
  • The person is connected — To the local church, to community, and to their own God-given purpose.
  • The Great Commission is fulfilled. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. — Matthew 28:19
